These are our planned breeding pairs, due spring of 2017. For more information on any individual goat, please see the "does" or "bucks" page. Breeding choices may change and I watch our young bucks grow, so check back regularly!
Stella X Sam should have wide, solid kids with good mammary systems. Their kids should be very balanced and improve lines that tend to be low fronted/ hip high.
Tina and Achilles are a match I hoped to get in 2016, but with only one chance to breed before I missed my window, it wasn't meant to be. Both of these goats have wide rumps that are extremely level thurl to thurl and I expect their kids to be the same. They should have high milk production and moderate muscularity.
Kiwi is a wide, solid girl with good depth and a strong front end. Charlie's width and muscularity should ensure kids with width and good brisket extension while adding more muscling. Their kids should improve brisket and rear width in their new herds.
Velvet is long, deep, and beautifully level. Wilbur has amazing bone, solid muscling and incredible width. These kids should be long and level with heavier bone and muscling than their dam. They should improve toplines and level out rumps in any herd.
Lira and Achilles should have long, wide kids that are extremely wide and level thurl to thurl. Achilles has a tendency to improve teat size, and if these kids get that and Lira's beautiful attachments and capacity they will have some incredible udders.
Triscuit consistently throws some of my best kids, and Blaze has some of the best udder genetics available. Together they should have kids with excellent muscling and extension of brisket, solid udders and wonderful milk production.
Once fresh, Petunia puts all of her energy into making milk. She is one of my highest producers, but her rear attachment needs improvement. Breeding her to Charlie should improve attachments and add muscling to her kids. ***registered buckling will not be available from this doe due to her less than ideal rear attachments.
Buttercup has gained a lot of depth of body as she has matured, but I'd still like to see her kids a bit shorter than she is. Sam should do just that, while not taking anything away from her lovely topline and width.
